My 12 year old Comfort Select air mattress started loosing air pressure and I wasn't too intrested in searching around for the hole and patching it given it's age. This Queen size relacement fits perectly and even feels much sturdier than my factory original. The quick disconnect hose fittings are a plus too. Prior to ordering this one, I searched around the enternet and found a few other venders wanting over $500 for their chambers, so this is an absolute steal for the quality in materials you get!
Note: Sleep Number air mattress is white the REM air mattress is blue. I use the air mattress in my camper and still too much snow on the ground to go camping. This review is of my first impressions. I have a Sleep Number bed and one of the mattress started to bulge and need to be replaced. I ordered the REM mattress and the quality and size are just as good as the Sleep Number. Adapting the REM mattress to the Sleep Number pump is very easy. You simply cut the Sleep Number tube/fitting off and insert the REM supplied fitting and you are good to go.Soon to be a happy camper.
We had a six-port Therapedic (not Tempurpedic) Air Touch mattress. The pump died and the mattress began to deflate quickly. Therapedic no longer makes air mattresses and an email to them went unanswered. We discovered that no one makes six-port replacement pumps. Not wanting to spend thousands on a Sleep Number bed, we searched for an alternative. We found this REM replacement air mattress and pump. We emailed the company with a question before purchasing and they got back to us within fifteen minutes on a SUNDAY! The air mattress and pump were delivered in a very timely manner and things were set up within half an hour. Instead of spending thousands, we were able to easily renew our bed for under $600, quite a bit less than a new Sleep Number bed. There was a bit of an odor when we opened the air chamber package but that is to be expected with a rubber/vinyl product. After the bed was reassembled, we no longer noticed any odor. The company (Silver Fish Internation, LLC) is amazing and we are sure if there should be a problem down the line they will respond quickly. Highly recommend this air mattress and pump.
I’ve only had the new air chamber for a few hours; I update my review after I’ve slept on it for a few weeks.I have a Comfortaire Queen size mattress that started leaking air a few weeks ago. My attempts to find and patch the leak(s) were not successful, so I purchased this REM replacement chamber (and a new REM pump). The 72x52 is a perfect fit and was easy to install once the old mattress was disassembled. The instructions for the connectors are simple but easy to misread; I initially did it wrong, but it was a snap to correct. After several hours, it’s maintaining the proper pressure; I will come back in a few weeks and give a follow up.The REM air chambers are an economical way to extend the life of air mattress style beds.Update: I’ve now owned the replacement air chamber for a little over 18 mos. I’m still happy with it, but it has developed a slow leak. Every week or two, the chamber loses about 10 points (from 85 down to 75), and I need to run the pump to bring the chamber back up to the proper pressure. So long as it doesn’t get worse, I don’t consider it a major problem.
I have a select comfort bed in my motorhome, one side had a major leak that couldn’t be repaired easily. I found this air chamber and it was half the price of a used select comfort air chamber, I thought I would give it a try and I’m glad I did. It worked perfectly. I did need the extra coupler the seller offers, but I didn’t know that until I went to install the mattress. It was late at night and I emailed the seller to request the coupler piece, I didn’t expect them to reply until the next day but they responded immediately. They even gave me info so I could go get a coupler locally to save time. I ended up waiting on theirs to come in, it worked perfectly. I just cut off some of the OEM hose and then the new push lock coupler slides into the old hose and connects to the new hose. No leaks at all, and I’m able to sleep on my bed again instead of the couch. Thanks!!!
Saved money and I honestly like it better than the oem air mattress. I like a firm setting and this square grid pattern is more comfortable than the previous wide rectangles. I have had it for a few months now and it has held its air/setting number perfectly with simple installation. So if u want to save $$’s this is a great way to do so. It is blue not beige, but who cares once u zip it inside the select case u never see it.
My SleepNumber bladder was leaking down, the REM bladder solved that problem, as well as moving the port to the foot of the bed, getting rid of the mattress lean with the side port

Received replacement air mattress for my sleep Number bed. Even though old leaking one was only five years old. New mattress arrived in a reasonable amount of time replacement literally took about twenty minutes. Alot thicker then originally. Mattress is so much more comfortable then original. Very happy with my new one.
This product is excellent and straightforward to install, representing a significant upgrade from the original air chamber. I purchased two units, and they work perfectly.
So happy with this purchase, no more flat bed problems. Sleep quality is much better now that the mattress doesn't go flat and I have to wait for it to refill with air again. As soft or as firm as you want and no air loss! This air chamber is of a much, much higher quality than the original Sleep Number. Weight alone tells you that as it is about 3x as heavy. Material is super thick and not thin like the Sleep number. Well worth the money spent.As far as installation, it was a breeze. Flip the mattress over, unzip the cover, unzip the side that is bad (queen), replace, attach adapter to new hose, partially fill, zip everything up, and flip back over. The new hose is not on the side and at the top or bottom whichever you choose. Mine is at the top and I made a slit in the cover to accommodate the new location of the hose. Sleep Number does have a warranty on the air chamber, but not for the house call troubleshooting. To me, this was a more economical route and I received a far superior air chamber.

Great !!!! Princess Sleeping had many demands. Current Firm mattress - Too soft !!! Moved to basic air mattress on the floor, since that was acceptable, I charged forward with a plan... I ripped the springs out from her side of the the mattress and stuffed in the floor air mattress. Several changes later and she was mostly happy. Got the REM Controller to make a very cheap Sleep Number Bed. Then I used this Heavy Constructed REM Mattress. PERFECT !!!! Eliminated the squeaks of the former air mattress and allowed for Edge Bolstering. Now, Princess Sleeps without compliant. Yeah !!!
Have a SN 20+ years. My side (of course) of the bed started losing air and then not level. Next a bulge in the middle. Need my SN but cost of replacement is expensive. Choice of this REM or $100 more for the OEM from SN's site. Will not buy a used mattress. The design is different from the OEM's and was a small concern. Swapped with defective bladder. Replaced the quick-connect connector on the SN's hose with the newly supplied connector. Attached the hose ends. Pumped to 50% then rezipped bed covers back. After making bed completely, pumped up to 80%. Mattress is holding air and flat and solid! Took a total of 15min to complete the replacement. ZERO difference from OEM mattress. Need a firm mattress and now I'm back in business!! SO nice to sleep again (2nd night on new). The new mattress is as "beefy" as the OEM. All materials look to be of upper quality and mattress is rock solid after 80% full. VERY pleased with purchase. Not sure if it will last another 20 years but as of now, perfect replacement for sleep number traditional air chamber. Very pleased with purchase. Received in perfect condition and item works perfectly. Thanks again.

We have a select comfort bed that we have had for over 30 years. The bladder started to separate and bulge. Called company and they stated a price about double what the REM system was saying they no longer made it and would have to send off to another company to replace it. We got the REM mattress and as stated if fit great into the old slot where the original was located. The down side is that the REM is not as high as the original one causing a slight hump between the mattress in the California king bed of about 1 inch. not a deal breaker but a disappointment that I will have to live with. Also the mattress seems to be a little more unstable when turning over than the old one. Would probably buy again if I had to do it over.
